These Terms & Conditions represent an agreement between you and PortableWiFiRental.co.uk, operated by Lime Enterprise Limited (Company No. 07632577), located at Sunley House, 4 Bedford Park, Croydon, CR0 2AP, UK. These terms govern the rental of Wi-Fi internet devices (including routers, dongles, MiFi devices) through our website PortableWiFiRental.co.uk.

By renting a device from us through PortableWiFiRental.co.uk, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with using our website or renting a device.

Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly.

Services Provided

We offer the rental of Wi-Fi devices (routers, dongles, MiFi units) and mobile phones, along with accessories such as power plugs, guides, and portable batteries/power banks. The internet and phone services are provided through various telecommunication providers (e.g., EE, Vodafone, Three, etc.). The device you receive may use a different network provider as we expand our offerings.

Device Limitations
While we strive to provide reliable service, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted device operation, internet access, or meeting your specific requirements. The performance of your device depends on the strength and proximity of available telecommunication towers. In areas with weak signal strength, you may experience slower internet speeds or service interruptions. We do not accept responsibility for such disruptions.

You acknowledge and agree that your internet speed may not match the speeds advertised and may be affected by external factors such as network congestion or technical issues with the telecommunications provider.

Device Usage

By renting a device from us, you agree to use it responsibly and acknowledge the following terms:

  • You are responsible for how the device is used, including websites visited, content accessed, phone calls made, and messages sent.

  • You must not dispose of, modify, repair, or use the device for any illegal purpose.

  • The device should not be used for life-critical services or emergency equipment.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the rental agreement if these terms are violated.

Internet Access & Age Restrictions

Your rented device may or may not provide access to age-restricted content. It is your responsibility to ensure that the device is used appropriately by individuals within legal age limits.

Delivery Policy

We aim to deliver your device on the specified start date or up to three days before. However, we cannot guarantee exact delivery times due to external factors beyond our control, such as logistics delays.

  • If your device arrives late, we will refund the hire cost for the unused days, based on the difference between the start of hire date and the delivery date.

  • You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to accept the delivery.

  • No refund will be provided for delays caused by incorrect address details, failed delivery attempts, or rejection of the package.

Collection & Returns

It is your responsibility to return the device using a trackable postage service by the end of the hire period. Failure to return the device on time will incur additional charges for the extended period. The device must be returned in good condition; any damages or loss will be deducted from your refundable deposit.

If the device is not returned on time, a minimum charge of £10 per day will apply, plus a £10 admin fee. If the device is returned damaged or dirty, we will deduct £10 from your deposit for cleaning or repairs.

Refundable Deposit

A refundable deposit is required for each hire. This deposit covers potential damages, loss, or extra costs incurred during the hire. If the device is returned in good condition, the deposit will be refunded within 1-3 working days after we receive the device.

Cancellation & Refunds

  • You may cancel your order up to 8 days before the start of hire for a full refund, minus any transaction fees.

  • Cancellations made less than 8 days before the start of hire are subject to a charge due to costs already incurred.

  • Refunds for cancellations are processed within 1-10 working days.

Late Return Charges
If the device is not returned on time, additional charges of £10 per day plus a £10 admin fee will be applied.

Device Compatibility

We cannot guarantee that all your devices will be compatible with the rented Wi-Fi device. The speed and performance of the device are subject to the quality of the telecommunication network in your location.

Liability

We do not accept liability for:

  • Service interruptions or slower speeds.

  • Loss of income, damages, or inconvenience caused by device malfunction or connectivity issues.

  • Any loss or damage caused by using the rented device for any illegal or prohibited activities.

We shall not be liable for delays, failures, or damages caused by events beyond our control, such as force majeure events.

Amendments to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and it is your responsibility to review them regularly.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us via email. We will aim to resolve any issues within 5 working days. If your issue is unresolved, you may request it be escalated to a manager.
